Why not kick this all off with a redraw of something from my old account? All the deviations from it have been deleted, but I was scrolling through some pictures from an old facebook chat an found my old art. After I'd finished dying inside, I decided to start redrawing stuff. It's only a doodle, no shading or colours or anything. I wanted to keep it the same as the original in terms of all that, for an easier comparison! 
I remember I kept making changes to the pose and rubbing bits out, and meticulously adding the flat colours in... and spending forever on those ridiculous eyes. It took me forever to decide what to do with the hair, too! I was super proud of it in the end. ^^"
The new sketch was done very fast! I had the advantage of the pose and design of the character already set out for me to try and replicate... but I'd still say I've made a fair improvement! I'd still say I messed up a few things though. Just goes to show, there's always more to learn!

EDIT: I thought I'd make it clear how long each took! Also, it turns out the old art is actually from 2013!!
